                                Department of Automobile Engineering in association with Blue Ray Technologies,SIDCO organized a one day hands on training and workshop for the students of all the three years of the department. The session was organized by Mr.S.Madhavan, Assistant Professor, Dept . of Automobile Engineering at 10.30 am.

                                Mr.G.Senthil Kumar,MD,Blue ray Technologies presented a seminar on the different Methodologies and Importance of NDT in the current scenario from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm. He emphasized about the nature of work carried out by NDT engineers in the manufacturing sector and the employability for those who opted for this course.

                              The afternoon session was taken over by Mr.veerapandi  and Mr.E.Senthil kumar who delivered the hands on practical knowledge to the students in batches. They demonstrated Ultrasonic Testing, Liquid Penetration test and Magnetic Particle Test to which the students were eagerly waiting. The workshop concluded by a questionnaire session posed by the students to the engineers from Blue Ray Technologies.
