                                          Automobile Engineering Association 2015 Inauguration          The Department of Automobile Engineering has proudly inaugurated the Department Association to function for the Academic Year 2015-2016 on 28/09/2015. The inauguration was held in the presence of Mr.Chinmayi Krishgar, Manager, Ashok Leyland Technical Centre(R&D), Chennai. He introduced the students to the concepts of advancements in Automotive Systems and asked the students to plan well for their career. Seminar on Logistics

Logistics play an important role in the transport sector. So the Department of Automobile Engineering conducted a seminar on the importance of Logistics in association with Good Ocean Maritime, Institute for Logistics,UAE. The seminar was conducted on 21/08/2015 from 2.00pm to 4.00 pm . The visiting executives were from the branch of GML, Coimbatore. They stressed upon the impact of shipping and logistics industry in the automotive sector. They asked the students to come forward with their doubts and if necessary can approach their office which is situated in Peelamedu,Coimbatore. Career Guidance Program on M.S Abroad

On 15/7/2015 Department of Automobile Engineering, keeping in mind the welfare of the student community conducted a guest lecture on Career Guidance Program on M.S Abroad. The session was conducted by  Mr.Keerthivasan Rajamani, JRF/PSG College of Technology. He emphasized on the steps to be taken to get admission in courses in well renowned universities abroad. He also gave a short insight about the lifestyle changes when students study abroad. Seminar on Welding Technologies by TUV Rheinland

Mr.Murugesh Halan from TuV Rheinland was the special invitee for the seminar on welding technologies. 132 students attended the seminar on 04/09/2015 from 09.30 a.m to 11.00 am. He introduced the students to the various new concepts of welding.He also said to the students about the course conducted by them which offers a 30 days basic in automotive technology course which covers all the basic topics of automotive  servicing.
